Future technology: 09 ideas about to change our world

These are 09 ideas for the coming decade I'm convinced we can change the world with. I plan to work on ideas the most, so check back often for updates.

1. Replace the current energy from coal with solar power.

The issue of how to produce green energy will be the main issue for the next generation. To eliminate the use of coal will be fundamental for turning our planet green again.

As of now, the highest amount of energy comes from the sun and wind; currently the biggest industry for energy is coal. With the coming of technology like solar power, this will change.

2. Create skin that allows people to interact more in real life.

This idea should have been an innovation 25 years ago, that is why it is so long coming into being. With the advance of technology in the field of skin, we’ll see it in the field of electronics. Being able to interact in real life? That’s what we call artificial intelligence.

Now, it is important to note that artificial intelligence is not an automatic intelligence; rather, it is a linguistic tool that recognizes the meaning of text. Thus, no machines have the ability to replace us completely, it is expected to help us.

3. Make the process of making money easy

We have an indication that the system of taxation in the world is working out. Hence, we should remove the world of losses, the profit maximization path and not a cycle that is chock full of speculation.

However, any profit-focused body also needs income and, therefore, it creates tools to control the flow of individuals. With the financial bubble about to burst, this speculation will soon be vanished. Let it happen and think of how to clear-up this company or some other.

4. Make wars more effective.

Traditional fighting is time consuming and costly. For the next generation, the traditional way to fight wars will be very difficult, I believe. Rather, the total attack will move to virtual contests. And the best way to do that is to eliminate the opportunity of war itself.

5. Extinguish arms race.

With the largest quantum leap of potential weapons on the planet, the competition for innovation is about to set into a blind alley. With the use of high tech weapons, the human race will be misled into the worst ways of combat.

5. Learn to slow down.

I think of leisure as a beautiful luxury, a kind of high tourism. When the time to relax occurs, people never want to do something else. However, as the exploration and enhancement of technology start to become more and more prominent, we’ll start to see the new the human race in the animal kingdom — a tribe that lives the luxury lifestyle of leisure.

6. Make the end of the earth not an unsolved problem.

Imagine a world where we cannot think about the end of the earth anymore; in other words, how we fight the problem is irrelevant when we have solved it. Imagine you don’t have an actual problem — you have a really bad headache — but if you think of a solution to the headaches, you can’t think of anything else.

7. The present world is shabbily managed.

I am actually annoyed with the way we managed, or at least it is my perception. We should not live in a country where every system of administration is completely destroyed and confined within the limits of the logic and methodology.

With the launching of the concept of smart cities, we will see the improvement and simplification of the management of all the systems.

8. Clean water.

We’re going to see the need for conservation of water that is scarce in our current living space. Since the end of the last ice age, there is not even enough water for three days. The least we can do is to conserve water. In addition, with the strong determination to avoid using it so much, we are moving towards developing the technology that will save water and use it efficiently.

9. Make pets and fish pets to make us happier.

I am 100 percent sure that for people, there are always two types of pets. During the lifetime, they want pets to make their lives a bit more normal and comfortable. But after the death of the pets, we miss our pets at much more than just an emotional level. After a long life, for humans, the day to day relationships and social interactions are the hardest part. Pets are basically being used to fill in this void, just like books after our human parents die.
